Reminisce series
This series revolves around my youngest daughter, Bec, who has become a profound source of inspiration. Through painting her repeatedly, I've discovered that she holds the key to unlocking hidden truths about my own younger self. As Bec transitioned out of her teenage years, my own fragile memories from that time demanded my attention. To capture the fleeting impressions of my adolescent landscape in the 1970s and 1980s, I have styled these portraits in a manner reminiscent of that era. My intention is to not only better understand the wonderful insights that can be found by delving into the shadows of my past but also to give these insights a voice and power.
